You can join RFCU through our partnership with Financial Fitness Association (FFA) or as a Novartis Pharmaceuticals employee or contractor.

Moreover, Net Income is distributed to the membership in the form of dividends. That is money back to you. The Credit Union’s Dividend Rates are often paid above current rates for similar products. In addition, our Loan Rates are extremely competitive in the market for similar products.

Our History

Founded in 1947, Ridgedale Federal Credit Union (RFCU) was formed as the Ciba Summit Employee Federal Credit Union to serve financial needs and provide cooperative credit to the employees.  Over the years our name has changed, but our commitment to our members has remained focused on providing the highest level of products and service. Today, Ridgedale proudly serves members locally and across the world. Our main branch is in East Hanover, New Jersey, we provide free ATMs throughout the world and shared branch services with Co-Op. We are a member-owned, not-for-profit, full-service financial institution and federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).

You can come to our branch  with your membership application, and your government issued identification; Drivers License, State ID or Passport, and proof of address.  Membership is available through The Financial Fitness Association (FFA) or as an employee of Novartis. Please bring your  Novartis ID badge with you if applicable. By opening a share (savings) account, you instantly qualify to take advantage of all Credit Union member benefits. Once you are a member you are a member for life.
